Hi,

When i received an email from someone (outside our organization) who shared a folder from a sharepoint site, the hyperlink are not clickable. I can view the hyperlink in source code and copy/paste it in my browser but i can't click on it. Like the hyperlink where disabled...

I have EOP with a lot of security enable like safe ATP safe attachment, ATP safe link, Antispam, anti-malware policies but i don't see any one of these blocking the hyperlink.

Message trace in EOP is ok : "delivered succesfull".

Anyone has an idea ?

Thanks.
Ben

    Hi @Benoit Patin ,
In order to better solve this issue, I want to confirm the following information with you:
1.Can this user successfully open the hyperlink of the Sharepoint folder shared from other users? Or whether could click the hyperlink in other sharepoint share email?
2.Can the link copied from the source code be opened normally?
3.After receiving the email, are there any warnings or errors?
4.Where did you read this email?
1)If you open the email in outlook client, please try to login to OWA and see if you could click the hyperlink.
2)If you open the email in OWA, please try to change the browser to rule out the browser’s possibility of causing this issue.

According to my test, I have modified Sharepoint’s policy for sharing with external users several times, but still no recurrence issue. I create a new sharepoint site and create a new folder. Then shared the folder to an external user with email, and the user could click the hyperlink normally.

1.Can this user successfully open the hyperlink of the Sharepoint folder shared from other users? Or whether could click the hyperlink in other sharepoint share email?

Don't really know... This was the first time someone ask me why i can't click a link in an email.

2.Can the link copied from the source code be opened normally?

Yes, the user get the link in the source code and could paste it in a browser. And he could successfully access the sharepoint site.

3.After receiving the email, are there any warnings or errors?

No warning and no erros in message trace.

4.Where did you read this email?
1)If you open the email in outlook client, please try to login to OWA and see if you could click the hyperlink.

I ask him to try OWA

2)If you open the email in OWA, please try to change the browser to rule out the browser’s possibility of causing this issue.

    I ask him too.

    Thanks

    Hi @Benoit Patin ,
How many users have this problem?
For the first point, I mean that if another user sends a sharepoint share email to the user's mailbox in question, can it be opened?
Please try to use a mailbox outside the organization to directly send an email containing the Hyperlink to the user's mailbox in your organization. Check if you can click.
