Hello I can not connect to the internet despite having a working wireless connection, and I think I know the reason.
I used to use a wireless network a few years ago but no longer do. When I look in my Preferred Wireless Connection List under network settings I see that not only is it at the top of the list but it is set to connect even when not accessible. I cannot lower its priority nor can I uncheck that box, whenever I do I recieve an error message telling me that "one or more changes could not be made." What should I do? I have no use for that connection anymore and am willing to get rid of it perminentaly if I can, but I suppose I need to do so from another angle.
Thanks.
