Help: Changed default program for .lnk files to Internet Explorer.

So yesterday I did something stupid. I managed to change the default program for all of my .lnk files to Internet Explorer. I'm running Win 7 (64).

When I double-click any file on my desktop it attempts to open the file with Internet Explorer. Same goes for most program files in my start menu. I've encountered a few fixes for this problem, but all of them have been for past OS's such as Vista and XP so I didn't want to run the chance of messing up my registry even more by running an out of date program. If any more information is needed just ask.

Help as soon as possible would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance people.
