Hi LWillett,
I would suggest you rename any two of the windows folder to Windows.old and windows.old2 and restart the computer.
If you are able to boot the computer with no issues then you may try deleting the folders.
If you are unable to boot the computer, you need rename the folder back from Windows Recovery Environment.
Follow the steps listed below to go to Windows recovery environment
a. Put
the Windows 7 installation disc in the disc drive, and then start the computer.
b. Press
a key when you are prompted.
c. Select
a language, a time, a currency, a keyboard or an input method, and then click next.
d. Click
Repair your computer.
e. Click
the operating system that you want to repair, and then click next.
f. In
the System Recovery Options dialog box, click Command Prompt.
g. Type
in notepad
h. Click
on File option in notepad
i. And
navigate to the location where Windows folder is saved (C:\Windows)
j. Rename
it back and restart the computer.
