I received this message a few weeks ago and on a different hard drive to the one I am now using. This problem was not resolved then, as i was trying to load Microsoft 7 at the time and it stopped during installation and would not uninstall so my hard drive was messed up. This is a new drive with everything put back I had been trying to install servicepack 3 on a few occattions ,from the microsoft updates as well as a cd supplied by Microsoft.I am not sure if this might not be a cause of my problem. Please help, Many Thanks Peter Conway
