****1. Which model of printer are you using?
- By any chance, have you kept the printer on network?
- Do the printer settings change only with Microsoft Excel application or other applications as well?
I would suggest you to use the below mentioned steps and check if this resolves the issue –
Method 1:
You may use the troubleshooter to check for issues related to the printer.
Open the Printer troubleshooter -

**Method 2:**I would suggest you to refer to the below mentioned link for free virus or malware scan of your computer and use it on your computer –

**Method 3:**Use the below mentioned link to set the default printer and check for the topic–

**Method 4:**If the issue persists I would suggest you to download and install the printer drivers from the manufacturer website and then check. You may also check if at all an update of printer
driver is needed to be installed. Refer to the below links for assistance -
To update the drivers follow the steps below:
- Open

Start button, clicking
All Programs, and then clicking
Windows Update. If
you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
- In the left pane, click
