INSTALL DIRECTORY

Downloaded Command and Conquer Generals from U-torrent.  All downloaded ok but can't run the game from the game icon, it says "you must run the game from the install directory".

What is the install directory, where do I find it and what do I click on/type please?

Thanks in advance.

Hi CivvySi,

a) What Operating System are you using?

b) Do you get any error code along with the message?

Right click on the game and run as administrator and check if it works.

By default Windows installs all the programs in C:\Program Files directory. Moreover, if you install any program like the game you mentioned, it goes to C:\Program Files directory by default.

Locate the game that will be installed by default in the location C:\Program Files, unless the destination is changed while installing the game.
