Solutioning without ADLS

I am planning to ingest source tables without using ADLS. I do not have any file analytics requirement, just intend to load the source to Synapse and top of that to build dimensional model.

Do you see any disadvantage/risk here as I am planning to skip ADLS from my design. Thank you!

Hello @xyz_chatter and welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

The only possible disadvantage I can think of, is in some scenarios using ADLS as staging can result in faster loads when using polybase.

Other than that, I think you should be fine skipping ADLS.
