Error Message "Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d' Type Mismatch: 'Cdbl'/ME2/Apps/Commerce/Common/Functions.asp, line1548

I was on a wepage login information page, I filled out the form, I hit continue and the next page that came up had the error message: Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d' Type Mismatch: 'Cdbl'/ME2/Apps/Commerce/Common/Functions.asp,line1548

Also, yesterday, my mother was in her email on my computer and she tried to open an email and got a script error (I didn't see what it said) which she clicked OK and then it locked her out of her email and shegot an error message 999.

Could that have something to do with getting the other error message?  And what can I do to correct it? I'm not sure what to do.

Thank you.

These are script errors on the pages (and probably have nothing to do with IE or your system or your connection) and there's not much you can do about them - they happen sometimes.  You can however stop or severely reduce the notifications.  Go to Tools / Internet Options / Advanced and uncheck the box next to display a notification about every script error and also check the boxes next to both script debugging options to make sure they are disabled.

I don't think the errors are related (they are different pages) and I don't think you need worry about it or do anything beyond what I suggested above unless you begin to have more frequent or constant problems accessing web sites or staying connected or getting locked out - then post back again and we'll take another look at the situation.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

I am hoping you can help me with this script error I receive every time I try to login to a particular website while using Firefox.

    Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'

    Type mismatch: '[object]'

    /kibble-plus-login.asp, line 75

I receive this message after attempting to login to my "freekibble" account.  I have contacted the website where this happens, and it seems as though they are unable to do anything to help. Can you give me any assistance with this problem?

    Thank you
