Adding Multiple Clocks to the Taskbar

Question

Hi,

I am trying to add another clock to the taskbar beyond the two additional clocks that are allowed.

I navigated to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\TimeDate\AdditionalClocks and found two keys named 1 and 2 which contained the info for the clocks.

I added a key to "AdditionalClocks" named 3, and included the info needed, but it did not display the clock.

I assume there is a limit on the number of clocks, but I need to knCrystow how to change that limit. I checked on the process using procmon, but I did not see any reg keys that controlled the number of clocks. Is it somehow embedded in txres.dll? If so, does someone know if there is an update for it?

Hi marble_tech,

Unfortunately, you can have only 2 additional Clocks (3- Clocks displayed); you may use your favorite search engine to search for a third party software that will help you out with this task.

It is recommended to backup your registry before working on it.
