Hi,
I have added the RDS feature and it is using the single server configuration.
- Do you mean you have installed {RD Virtualization host(with hyper-v role) and rdcb, rdweb} on this w2019 vm?
- Can your RD Virtualization host(server 2019 with hyper-v role) connect to internet ?
- Can you try to use ping command, then check if we can connect to other member servers in local network and other internet ip(or FQND) on issue "golden image" VM?
ping hyper-v host ip address
ping other member server address
ping 8.8.8.8
ping www.google.com - Is your golden image vm added to AD domain ?
I have got the virtual network switch in Hyper-V connected to the host's network adapter.
- Did you set "external network" adapter in below picture for your issue gloden image vm ?
If you try to create a new standalone vm in hyper-v host and set "external network" adapter for your new vm, will the same "internet can not access" issue happen ?
Create a virtual switch for Hyper-V virtual machines
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/virtualization/hyper-v/get-started/create-a-virtual-switch-for-hyper-v-virtual-machines
- Did you select “create a new virtual switch on the select servers” when you create rds collection and deploy RDVirtualization host role on w2019 vm?
Thanks for your time!
Best Regards,
Mico Mi
