Java fail on Stand-Alone media

We have Java imported in CM as Package, MSI + MST. In Online Task Sequence, the installation completes fine. Same config done as Offline .iso, Java fails. When I run it manually without silent with MST, it tells me something like file is missing (don't have it now infront of me). If I run the MSI without MST, it completes the installation fine. The Stand-alone media is extracted in D: drive during the installation and all packages are there.

Any ideas? MST is needed to configure the update settings for the package.

I probably found the root cause: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/systemcenter/en-US/aa34d808-09a8-4346-851f-f6f7d80c4e5f/standalone-media-ts-fails?forum=configmgrgeneral

The label (media name) of DVD / USB should be renamed to blank. This is a known issue apperently. But, if I create new .ISO with blank name field via CM console, will it place default name on the media anyway? So is the only workaround manually rename USB media? With DVD you can't do that.

    Hi,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.

Agree with you, it looks like something is missing in the MST file. Here are some article to create a MST-file for Java for your reference:

    Best regards,
