Missing Trash Bin on Desktop

I seem to be missing the Trash Bin on my Desktop - how do I get it back?

That happens when you mistakenly choose Delete instead of Empty the Trash when you are emptying the Recycle Bin.  The Vista Beta testers bitched about that option being called "Delete" because the user is in fact trying to delete something when he empties the RB. 

Easily fixed. 

Right click on your desktop and choose Personalize.  In the left Pane, called the Task Pane, click on Change Desktop Icons.  Put the checkmark back in the box by the Recycle Bin in the Desktop Icons Settings window which appears.

I updated to Windows 10 when it was still free. I have never found my Recycle or Trash bin. I have followed the instructions on the Personalize you desktop and clicked the appropriate boxes by can still not find it- help

New update and now I lost my Icons and cant get them back.  

Did this :

1. Go to Settings.
2. Click Personalization.
3. Click Themes.
4. Click Desktop Icon Setting.

5. To show the recycle bin icon, make sure to tick ‘***Recycle Bin’***check box.

Have done all the above and restarted my desktop without any success can not seem to find my Recycle Bin anywhere, also have looked under files does not seen to there?
