Function Keys with Dual Functions

I am trying to play various downloaded online games, and the problem I keep running into is that my function keys have two functions, and the "main functions" are not the ones I want (such as adjusting screen brightness, etc).  I need the original functions that pertain to the programs I'm using, and it's very inconvenient to have to repeatedly press the Fn key to get them to work.  Worst of all is the F2 key, which shuts off my wifi, disconnecting the games and forcing me back to the login screen.

I'm not sure what kind of computer you're using, but I figured out how to do it on my laptop.

You have to make a change in the BOIS system. To find out how to access the BOIS system go to the support website for your computer [Dell, HP, etc]. I know for Dell you have to push F2 as soon as you see the Dell logo when booting your computer. A screen will appear and after a little browsing you should find what your looking for and switch from Multimedia to the other option. You will still have to use the Fn key while using your laptop normally, but while gaming you can use F1-F12 without having to push Fn.
