I had installed a e7500 dual core processor and it was being displayed correctly in the task manager.
I had a problem with a stop 0x000000F4 error after putting in update and tried doing a system restore to before the driver update. thee system was unable to do this.
I then restored the windows directory from a backup, and since that the second processor does not show up. It only seems to be using the one processor now. Does anyone have any ideas how to rectify the problem.. Or will I have to re-install
thanks Tony

I have already looked at the msconfig option and it is not selected, also it only shows 1 processor if you do select it. I have looked in the Device Manager and both processors are there and it says that both are installed properly.
Hi Tony,
Try clicking on Start, Run... and then type in msconfigand press EnterClick on the Boottab and then the Advanced Options... button and make sure the NUMPROC= box is not ticked; if it is then untick it and click theOKbutton.
