I recently decided to use Windows DVD  Maker to burn .wmv files to DVD. My first attempt using the software was successful and I tested out the DVD on different hardware, it works perfectly. When I try to burn a DVD of same file type since the computer freezes.

The computer always freezes during the encoding of the DVD when I attempt to burn a file. Progress never exceeds 0.5 %. The mouse cursor moves but I cant click on anything. No response from keyboard input whatsoever. So far I have tried burning different files and changing the burning speed but every time my computer crashes and needs to be shut down by pressing and holding the power button. Also Safe mode wont recognize the DVD drive.
