Failure while setup is in progress!

I'm performing a new install of Vista Home Premium. Problem arises on the last restart. It fails to successfully restart and BSODs for a millasecond not enought time to get any info. from it then shuts down the PC. I have formatted and reinstalled three times all with the same result. Every check done by the Startup Repair passes at the end I get the message Root Cause: Failure while setup is in progress. The cd works fine having installed it on another PC a fews days prior with no problems. The systems being installed on is a stock Dell Dimension E510. Both PCs belong to friends so I would presume that they ran the compadiablity test from online. With that said I know none of the hardware specs. for either PC. (Vista 32bit Home Premium SP1) I would appreciate any help you have to offer.

    http://support.dell.com/

Dell has their own Recovery disks for their brand of Computer.

You can only use a proper Vista DVD(not Dell HP recoverydisk) to try and install Vista on different Computers.

If a Vista DVD comes with a Computer, it is not for use on another brand.

They are normally tied to their Computer's Hardware

    Cheers.
