DMR Errors

Question

I just made a new computer from all new parts. I transffered my entire Old Hard Drive to the new one. When I started it up Windows XP forced me to get a new product ID key to be able to use Windows... I dont remember all the details about why I had to do this, but its not important. Other then the fact that all my songs that have DMR protection can now not be played on my computer.. I get no prompt to get new licenses or anything just an error message saying WMP has encountered an error and has to close now. I know the songs are fine because I can put them on a USB Drive and play them on other peoples computers fine. Sending the error info to Microsoft hasn't done anything to help me either. I own these songs and dont feel like putting a few thousand back on my computer from CD's again just to play them. Please Help.

I was going to try the solutions your link offers, but when I went and read what to do I saw that none of the steps worked for my player. The link is for WMP 7-10 I believe and I use WMP 11. Thank You so much for trying though. If anyone has any help or link for WMP 11 i'd love to try it.

After deleting the DRM folder, head to the individualisation site to update the DRM components - they depend on various bits of hardware to identify your computer uniquely, including the hard disk, so changing that would have invalidated the DRM individualisation.
