Print queue deletes documents rather than sending them to printer

I have a wireless HP C6180 printer. Windows sees it, and can't find anything wrong with it. When I send a document to print, I see the doc in the print queue. But then I see the word "deleting" and it goes away. Nothing ever seems to go to the actual printer. This problem appeared out of nowhere. Everything was working fine before and now suddenly does not. I have reinstalled the printer more times than I can count and updated the drivers, etc. Has anyone seen this problem before? I am at a complete loss!

Thanks.

Hi Tnils,

Were you able to print if you connect the printer locally?

Try these steps and check if that helps.

(A). Open the Printer troubleshooter by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click Troubleshooting. Under Hardware and Sound, click Use a printer.

“Open the Printer troubleshooter”

(B). If that doesn’t help, then try system restore and check.

Here are the steps:-

Open System Restore by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type System Restore, and then, in the list of results, click System Restore. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

(C). If still it doesn’t help,  then I would suggest you to contact hp support for further help.
