I cannot view Adobe Reader Files. I have Windows XP home edition, Service Pack 3. I use i.e. 8 optimized for MSN and Bing. The error code is 1635. When I try to install the update 9.3.1, I am denied permission, told that I need to prove the patch exists & I own it. When I try to remove the program through control panel (add/remove programs), same thing.
Adobe help/support is just a vicious circle that gets you no where.
