Original Title: Internet Explorer connection problem with XP

I recently installed XP on my Mac, but I'm having problems connecting to the internet with Explorer 6.0.  I have no problems when I go through Safari.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

    Hi aked74,

    ·        Did you follow steps from the article I posted earlier?

You can try resetting the modem. Refer the manual to do the same. If the article does not help then, try to contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and check if they can help.

When I open Internet Explorer, I get the error message that the web page cannot be displayed.  When I look in Control Panel, I notice that the modem is not being recognized.  I suspect it may be a driver problem.  Any suggestions?

    Hi aked74,

    1.      What happens when you try to access internet?

    2.      Do you get any error message?

Please provide more information about the issue you are facing. In the meantime, check to see if the following article can help you.

You receive an error message in Internet Explorer: "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"
