rtl100.bpl

Question

hi there:

          when i turn my computer on i get a message that reads rtl100.bpl is missing after searchig for about a monh i carn't seem 2 get it fixed. it is stoping me from installing and uninstallng programs so far no 1 has been able to help me. Im out of ideas can any1 help?

   Oh and it wont let me install any updates either.

ginner1980,

    I have a few questions about this error.  Can you give us the exact error message (especially if it states a program is not finding it)?  What version of Vista are you running?

Couple things to try. 

 - Try to clean boot the system and see if the error occurs.  If it doesn't then that would indicate that a program is trying to use the file and can't find it.  Then you can narrow down what program and reinstall it.  Here is a link to the information on clean boot.
