Brother Installation Error

IS015- GetMiscInfo - 1 thats what i get when i try to install my MFC295CN

If i try from the folder named mfc-295cn then the error turns into, In Function 'INTERFACETYPE': Unable to create dialog.

Does anyone have an idea why i get this? I have fresh installation, Java installed, and all the frameworks installed as well, i dont know what else to do; the context of windows XP says in the add printer, that my printer is there, but trying to select it only results in the message "Input a valid printer name", so its there but cant be "touched".

Plase, i need some help, i dont know what those errors are, and seem like they say there is something missing, but i dont know where, who or why.

Thanks!

I know that this posting is over a year old at this point, but i was unable to find any other reference to this online and thought that I may provide the solution if anyone else is trying this.

The computer I was getting this error message on was running an anti virus called 'Panda'. This software was stopping the execution of the installer without asking or prompting me.

As soon as I disabled the anti virus, I was able to install my brother printer without this error. Then i turned it back on and all was well.

Solution Found.
