Runtime error 217 at 00429733

Please advise:  What is it?  How to fix it.  Registry scans and cleaners have not solved the problem.Thanks, Jim VanAbbema

    Hi scouser62,


    It appears to be an error with spybot but we cannot be sure. You may disable or uninstall the program then check if the issue resolves. You can also refer to the below provided similar links for assistance -

    Do not forget to enable the anti-virus after the troubleshooting is done as your computer will be under risk.

    Hi Jim this runtime error (217 at 00429733) also happens everytime my pc starts up.  Can you help me get rid of it please.

    the antivirus sofware I am using is spybot search and destroy....ccleaner and CA security
