I am working on some dial up adaptor. I am creating a shortcut the network adaptor in desktop. Though my shortcut the pointing to a connectoid rather than an exe i am not able to pin it to the task bar..

Is there a way to do it programatically enable my shortcut to be pinned to task bar.

Thanks in advance.....

Using this method you can place a link on task bar.

    1. Right click on an empty Taskbar area
    2. Go to toolbars--> check Links

Now Links option will appear on taskbar

    1. Goto "Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections"
    2. Drag the network connection to Links

    1. Make link visible by dragging the Links slider to left side

    Done

Additionally If you want to save some space on task bar,

Right click on Links--> uncheck "Show title"

    Enjoy :)
