Works 2001 is 9 years old and hasn't been supported in a very long time. It isn't compatible with Windows 7. Purchase the latest version of Works if you want it. Otherwise you can download/install the freeOpenOffice suite , which is excellent.

    I fixed it.  Thanks for your support though and OpenOffice suite is excellent for those who do not have Word or Works.

    **Did you recently install or uninstall some software?**Many applications use the same dll libraries. An uninstall can remove orunregister dll files used by other applications. Try reinstalling the uninstalled application and see if that resolves the issue. The same thing for installs. If you install an application and it replaces a DLL with either a newer or older version. That new dll may not have all the functions the other application needs to run.
