MS Paint Converting jpeg to bmp

I want to store bmp thumbnail images in an access 2007 database to be displayed in reports. Currently images are in my file system as jpg and png. Is there a way to batch convert these images to bmp? I have used Irfanview and other apps but their bmp's don't display as pictures in the Access report. Only MS Paint bmp's seem to work!

Hello viper_uk,

Thank you for using Microsoft Windows Vista Forums.

  • Open the JPEG file in the MS Paint.
  • Click File, Then Click on 'Save As'
  • A 'Save as', will open in front of you.
  • Under the Save As Type, Select the BMP & then save the file.

Hope this'll work.

Regard's  !!!!
