Hi thyzgaard,

Code 43 implies that Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems.

One of the drivers controlling the device notified the operating system that the device failed in some manner.

To resolve the problem, let's first open the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter to run the automated troubleshooting services.

If the troubleshooter does not fix the issue, uninstall the graphics card drivers from Device Manager and re-install the same.

To uninstall device from device manager, follow the below steps:

1.     Click Start, type Device Manager and hit Enter.

2.     Expand Display adapters.

3.     Highlight the device, right-click and select Uninstall.

4.     Restart the computer, if prompted.

You may also uninstall the device software (if any) from control panel.

After restarting, download and install the latest Windows 7 compatible drivers from the manufacturer’s website.

For more information on updating drivers, see Update drivers: recommended links

Hope this helps.
