unwanted extra window opening automatically.

I have IE7. About every 10-15 minutes when browsing, a new IE window opens up with an IE Google search page. This started yesterday.

Is any toolbar installed on your system?

If yes then try to uninstall it from programs and feature and verify.

This issue can also happen if the computer is infected by spyware or malware. Run a scan and remove infected items.
