how to insert "paint" program into "quick launch" ribbon in "word" program?

i am using "word."  i've found "paint" in the list of programs from the "start" button.

is there a way to insert "paint" into the "quick launch" ribbon for "word" without having to go thru the clicking-on-"paint," drawing-a-picture-separately, copying-to-"word" document rigamarole?  is this even possible, or does my Q indicate ignorance to begin with?  if so, i apologize.

am i just missing the explanation somewhere?  thanks for any help!

    hello, mrpeter1985 --

thank you so much!  i was having a terrible time finding the "toolbars" thing mentioned in the google link, then i clicked on F1 for help and discovered that the DRAWING choices are no longer available, at least not in the form they used to be available in!  however, if i click on "insert specific shape" or something similar, i can't remember the title right now, then i get what are essentially the DRAWING options!

i also need to explore openoffice.  obviously, i'm not very sophisticated with these things!

i really appreciate your taking the time to send me these suggestions, i never would have figured them out by myself.
