A mirror that paused before the mirror would not be called a mirror, it would be called a scheduled backup.

Greetings,
Recently a program made Windows 7 crash (BSOD) and after a reboot Windows started to resync my three mirrored partitions. The problem is that it does this simultaneously and in so doing being highly inefficient for the hard drives, because the head needs to move constantly. I would like to be able to pause two of the three resync tasks until after the first is complete, or that Windows does this automatically. Or is this already possible and I missed it?
James

I don't think that relates to my question. I understand what you are hinting at, but my question merely speaks of delaying the resynchronization of one partition until another is done resynchronizing, not delaying it indefinitely. The partitions are functioning properly during resynchronization, so the requested functionality is not unlikely to be of use, as after all, the resynchronization was only a precaution, because of the BSOD.
Thanks for the reply, but I don't think I'll get the answer I would like. The only real answer I can see is along the lines of "This feature is not supported. Perhaps in Windows 9".
