Hi,

The error message indicates that the backup succeeded but ended up skipping some locations as it could not locate them. So I presume you must have changed the location of folders listed in the error message.  Hence the corresponding library could not be reached using EXPLORER User Interface.

As a workaround, try this:

1. Click on "Change backup settings" from troubleshoot dialog.

2.  Expand the user node whose libraries are getting reported as skipped.

3.  Deselect the library that is causing the issue.

4.  Expand the "Computer" node in the tree view and select the redirected location of the folders.

5.  Save settings.

My computor is a BL--------- mess after the latest windows back up, I don't know how to fix it and cannot afford $120 per hour to have the shop try.   I thought a reputiable lot like MS would be able to do better. A R B.

I just finished a failed backup with the same problem.  Windows 7 HP   Backup Location Toshiba Canvio HD (E:)  Error Code: 0x8100002F.  Backup encountered a problem while backing up file C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\My Games\N64. Error:(The system cannot find the path specified. (0x80070003))   I don't know if I dropped a file there, but it only skipped that 1 file and kept the rest, including the image.
