Trying to start program (thunderbird) and windows gives a error message that program is running and cannot be started until running program is stopped. Thunderbird does not appear in either applications or processes lists.

Any suggestions on how to stop it or a bypass for windows refusal to start program.

I have tried shutting the system down and restarting, but it still is running according to error message.

    Hello nanafull,

Go to internet and search for software uninstallation programs that you can use to remove installed programs that you cannot delete or remove by other means. There are several that will work with Windows 7.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,
