Failed/Canceled Update

I have 2 Type: Important/Status: Failed updates. Apparently the software was released in May 2009 and I just now realized that it hasn't updated yet. Both of them are supposed to give me a Microsoft - Other Hardware - HID Non-User Input Data Filter. It says that the error code is 800F020B. I understand that this error code has been asked about before, but I didn't understand the answer and the error code was given with a different update.

I also have a Type: Important/Status: Canceled update for Internet Explorer 8 for Windows Vista for x64 based systems. It says the error code on that is 8024000B.

Because the Type is Important, I worry that the Failed/Canceled updates will pose as a problem in the future. Is there a way to fix them?
