I tried to install window xp on the computer, but it won't successful. The computer said this program is blocked due to compatibility issues. How can I solve this? I need a help!

I do have the same problem. I have a program linked between 3 computers which are on 32 bit OS. Now, I have this new laptop with the windows 7 64 bit.

My 32 bit program is not working in this 64 bit windows 7 os. In order to be able to access my program as well as to link with the other 3 comps, I tried to downgrade the win 7 to xp 32 bit.

However the similar case appeared on me too, "program is blocked due to compability issues".

Any how you guys have some solutions for it?

NOW I AM ABLE TO USE THE EXTERNAL DVD WRITER  SO I DO NOT NEED A USB.

I GOT THE ERROR MESSAGE WHEN I TRY TO INSTALL WINDOWS XP IS: THIS PROGRAM IS BLOCKED BY COMPATIBILITY ISSUES.  The actual error message are in italics:

This program is blocked due to compatibility issues.

check online to see if solicitons are avilable from the Microsoft website.  If solutions are found, Windoes will automatically display a website that lists steps you can take.

Program: Windoew Set Up

Publishedr Microsoft.

Locations: E\i386\winnt32.exe

Set up cannot continue because the version of Windows on your computer is newer than the version on the CD.
