Installing programs in different language

The base language of my windows 7 home premium is French. I know I can't change the base language but whenever I install new softwares the program just assumes I speak French and giveout all the installation options in French and most of times without options to change the language during installation process. After installation I can't read french so I'm stuck with unusable programs. This is also a problem when I'm surfing the web.

How can I make new softwares and sites recognize some other language I prefer?

Hi,

Let us change the Region and Language settings on your computer of your choice and then try installing these programs.

Here is how:

  1. Click on start and in the search bar type "Region and Language" and then click on it in the programs pane.
  2. Go to the Location tab.
  3. Choose Germany.
  4. Click Apply and then Ok.
  5. Restart the computer and check if you get the list in the Guide listings in the Windows Media Center.

For more information about changing the Region refer to the following link:

Hope this helps.

Can anyone help me with this? It's not like I'm trying to install MUI packages, just change a setting.
