Hi all, I recently purchased a brand new Sony Vaio S series (Intel i5 540M CPU, nVidia 310M GPU, 2 x 2GB DDR3 RAM, 320GB 5,400rpm HDD and Windows 7 Home Premium)

I literally had the laptop 2 days ago and after no problems on Windows Vista on my old laptop, this one has already Blue Screened.

I cannot get over it; here is the summary of events

Problem signature

I would love to know how to fix this error as I saved for over 4months to get a quality laptop like I have now only to be let down by Winows 7.

I have performed hardware diagnostic tests on the CPU, HDD and RAM and they have all come back ok thank god, so that leaves it to a Windows 7 error or a GPU error (which is completley up to date with the latest drivers)

Would my minidump file help?

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Regards

Stefan
