Hi gadgettech,

Welcome to Microsoft Windows Forums.

Please follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1:  Use Windows Installer CleanUp Utility and uninstall the previous installations of Stamp Organiser 2009

1)            Download windows installer cleanup utility from: http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2.exe

2)            When you use Windows Installer CleanUp Utility, you can perform the following functions:

•         Select one or more programs that were installed by Windows Installer from the Windows Installer CleanUp dialog box.

To do this, select the programs that you want in the Installed Products list in the Windows Installer CleanUp dialog box. After you make this selection, the utility removes only Windows Installer configuration information that is related to those programs.

•         Remove all Windows Installer information associated with the selected programs. This includes the entries for the programs in the Programs and Features in Control Panel. Be aware that only the Installer information for that particular program is removed, not the files.

For more information, please visit the link mentioned below: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/290301

Step 2: Run Disk Cleanup utility

The Disk Cleanup utility removes unnecessary files to free up space on the disk drive of your choice. To run Disk Cleanup on a Windows 7 computer, follow these steps:

1)      Click Start.

2)      Click All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Disk Cleanup. You should see the Disk Cleanup Options dialog box

3)      Click the Files from all users on this computer option.

4)      Click Continue when prompted that Windows needs your permission to continue.

5)      Click Drive C.

6)      Click OK.

Disk cleanup will calculate the free space on your computer, which may take a few minutes.

After the calculation is complete, you should see a dialog box

Confirm that only the following checkboxes are checked:

·         Downloaded Program Files

·         Temporary Internet Files

·         Recycle Bin

·         Temporary Files

7)      Click OK.

8)      Click Delete Files in the dialog box that asks Are you sure you want to permanently delete these files?

Disk cleanup will delete the files and close automatically.

Step 3: Right click on the Stamp Organizer 2009, setup.exe file and select “Run as Administrator”.

You can visit this link which has some known problems and remedies of Stamp Organiser 2008/2009,
