Folders Options missing

The Folder Options is missing in Control Panel.

I have another instance of Win7 installed and the CP item is present.

Does anyone know what file is missing, or corrupt, so that I can

copy it from the working Win7 to the other one. Short or reinstalling

everything of course.

SFC does not fix the problem. Nor does a repair/update using the

install DVD.

Thanks.

    By removing NoFolderOptions from following registry keys, where

    it exists :

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion \Policies\Explorer]

    "NoFolderOptions"=dword:0000000

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio n\Policies\Explorer]

    "NoFolderOptions"=dword:0000000

    Click Start, Click Computer.

    On the top of Windows Explorer click Organize.

    Then click Folder and search options.

    Click on the View tab.

    In "Advanced Settings" check "Always show menus"

    Click OK.
