Does Win 7 support NTVDM?

I still have programs that run in NTVDM.

Some don't run so great on 2000 and XP.

Will they work in Win 7?

One is a 386 enhanced mode program.

It is a sun style virtual desktop.

The NTVDM is becoming a thing of the past, you'll see less support as time goes on.  This is bittersweet for me as I have several old vertical market DOS applications that I MUST continue to use (transmitter remote control system) and even the work-arounds don't always get the job done.  We have several Windows 98SE machines in cold storage for that veru reason.

    Um,

I'm NOT hopeful that Windows 7 is going to work for me then.

Do you know which Microsoft operating system will maintain the functionality of the NTVDM the way I am used to?

Really, I think I'm only interested to find out if Windows 'home' Server (2008) will?

Windows 7 has an NTVDM, but it will not run a full screen (386 enhanced) graphical DOS applicaton.  I have several of these to deal with at work, the best way I've found is to either run DOS in a virtual machine (VirtualPC 2007 or Sun's VirtualBox), or to use an application like DOSBox.
