Hi. I looked up this problem about .NET framework version 2.0 issue with Lexmark printers. I am also having this problem. I have a lexmark printer but it work with my computer. The only time I get this message about this missing framework is when I plug in and mount my cell phone (My Touch 3G). I have tried downloading the correct driver but it tells me that it is already installed and when I went and looked up Optionalfeatures.exe and tried to turn on .NET Framework version 3.5, it was already enabled. So can anyone help me fix this problem so I can connect my cell phone to my computer. Thanks in advance!!

Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0 can be located by :

  1. Right clicking on TaskBar & selecting Task Manager.
  2. Select Services tab at the top then hit the Services button at the bottom.
  3. Scroll down until you find it.

Now Right click on it and select Properties. You can now Start/stop it here and set its Startup Type from here.

I'm not particularlr familiar with Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0 so you'll have to fiddle with things yourself from here. I'd just note dow what the settings were before you started & do a system restore in case things go pear-shaped.
