- When exactly do you get this error message?
- Does this happen when you initially start the computer?
- Does this happen when you run any particular application?
I would suggest you to follow theses steps and check if it helps.
Method 1:
If you get the message when you initially start the computer, then I would suggest you to perform clean boot and then check if it helps:

Make sure you put back the computer to normal startup mode once it is done.
Method 2:
Try running System file checker and see if it helps, here are the steps:
- Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator.
- Click Continue or supply Administrator credentials if prompted.
- In the Command Prompt window type the following, and press Enter:
sfc /scannow
