floating point division by zero

Does anyone have any idea why I would occasionally receive the pop up window with the "floating point division by zero" message when installing a program on Windows 7?

    I got around this problem by disabling the "Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering" option in IE9|Tools|Internet Options|Advanced.

    Floating point zero is associated with IE9 and effects html editors

    and particularly with folks with videos on their sites working with editors.

    Plain and simple I refuse toi use the product
