This might work, until you know the cause of the services disabled.

Start button > in the search box, type  msconfig  > press Enter key > uac prompt > Services tab > are all entries disabled ? > if yes, put check mark on all under the list > click Enable All.

Thanks t-4-2

I  didn't see the uac prompt

I use vista businees

" uac prompts " means you are asked to confirm the task by either clicking Continue or entering your admin password.

To clarify further.......

When you press Enter key > a User Account Control screen appears, asking for your permission to go forward by eihter clicking Continue or entering password > after that a System Configuration window appears, click Services > go back to my other reply and follow the instructions.

    Thanks Lorien-One

I would say 90% are disabled.

Could you provide a thread as to how to change each service?

I'd be more concerned with why this happened.  Did it occur at startup?  How did you notice?  Did you do anything like a clean boot (and not return things to normal) or make adjustments to services starting using a program like Autoruns?  I also don't see how you are able to navigate because if all local services were disabled, you would be essentially frozen out of doing almost anything.  In some cases, the only solution would be a re-installation.

In any event, I know of no way to globally accomplish the change.  You're going to need to access each service you want to start automatically (I assume it isn't all of them - many do not apply in a lot of situations), change it to automatic, and then start it manually.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!
