Hi. I am using Windows XP Professional. From past two days, I am facing a problem that when I open files of a particular extension, it appears on task bar, but the actual window on desktop is not visible. I tried maximize, minimize and restore options by right clicking it on the task bar, but nothing happens. When I use move option, the cursor changes to move cursor and is placed on top left corner.

The files were opening up correctly till recently. Anybody has any idea - please help. Thanks.

Unless I misunderstand you, the window is opening off-screen. Try this way.

Right click on the minimized window tab on the Taskbar and select Move. Now use the arrow keys to get it in the screen. Close all other windows except this one and use the cursor to drag the message to full screen size. File | Exit, and Windows will remember the size when you open it again.
