  • Dear Microsoft helpers, i'm dutch so my english is not quite good, so please keep it slow :). When i'm trying to open an application i'm getting this error: the application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or sxstrace.exe for more details In my logbook stands this; Kan afhankelijke assembly Microsoft.VC90.DebugCRT,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="9.0.21022.8" niet vinden.  I tried many things such as download new .NET framework, run as admin, but nothing seem to work. I downloaded and installed these:  Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 Client Profile Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 Extended Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable 9.0.30729.4148 Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable 9.0.30729.17 Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable i'm running on Windows 7 Home Premium, 32 bits. Any help would be appreciated much!

Thanks in advance!t changes you made to your computer

Remove the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable 9.0.21022.8 from the control panel and install it again.
