Hi, I'm having some problems with my computer lately. It all started yesterday when I was turning it on when the bluescreen showed, displaying this message: bluescreen Stop error: 0x00000100 and told me that there were some kind of fail in the cup’s second core. I searched the web and found the explanation underneath. My question is, what shall I do? It’s a fact that I'm sitting on this very computer right now writing this, but a want to find a solution, so that I can escape the problem in the future.Thx for any answers!Edit. My computer is running on a Intel i5 2,8 GHz. Windows 7 64bit. I've used it for about 1,5 month without any problems.

STOP Error 0x00000100: LOADER_BLOCK_MISMATCH STOP error 0x100 means that either the loader block is invalid, or it does not match the system that is being loaded. STOP code 0x00000100 may also display "LOADER_BLOCK_MISMATCH" on the same STOP message.

Check with these utilities to see if any information can be gathered :

This is an excellent tool for posting Blue Screen Error Information

BlueScreenView - Free - scans all your minidump files created during 'blue screen of death' crashes,

and displays the information about all crashes in one table.

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue\_screen\_view.html

MyEventViewer can be checked at the time of the BlueScreen (BSOD) to within a second or so of the

time of the BSOD to provide more information as to possible cause - see TIP.

MyEventViewer - Free - a simple alternative to the standard event viewer of Windows.

TIP - Options - Advanced Filter allows you to see a time frame instead of the whole file -

set it to a bit before and after the time of the BSOD.

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/my\_event\_viewer.html

AppCrashView - Free - a small utility for Windows Vista and Windows 7 that displays the details of all

application crashes occurred in your system. The crashes information is extracted from the .wer

files created by the Windows Error Reporting (WER) component of the operating system every

time that a crash is occurred. AppCrashView also allows you to easily save the crashes list to

text/csv/html/xml file.

Hope this helps.

Contact the Microsoft Support. The documentation about this is very poor:
