Azure Synpase -SQL Pool - Workload Patterns and Anti-Patterns

Hello Team,

I am looking for similar documentation(see below link) for Azure Synapse (more specifically "SQL Pool"). Is the below documentation applicable for Synapse SQL Pool too?

Thanks for the ask and using the forum .
The document which you have pointed does cover the Synapse ( DWH ) . I dont think we have anything on those lines for SQL pools . Also if you are looking for something particular topic , please do call out here , we will either try to get more help on that or update the existing document .

Basically, I was checking on Anti-Patterns of DWH in the below link & trying to see if these are still applicable for Azure Synapse.

It is mentioned that the below two are considered at Anti-pattern.
7-Power BI direct query requiring dashboard performance
8- High concurrency of queries (eg. hundreds of thousands of concurrent queries)

But In the Azure Synapse, since Microsoft added new functionalities like Cache / Materialized view etc. Are these above patterns still considered an Anti-Pattern? Sharing below link for reference.
