Hi,

a. Do you encounter any error message while using the Windows Search?

b. Is this computer connected to a domain environment?

c. Did you make any changes to the computer recently?

To automatically diagnose and repair problems with Windows Search when searches are slower, search is not finding all items, or the Windows Search service failed, is not running or shut down unexpectedly click on**"Run now"** button in the article below.

Windows Search is not working or searches are slower

Hope this helps.
