I found a document titled "Namespace Usage Guidelines for the Windows Vista File System". Is this document relevant to Windows 7?

If not, what is different and is there a replacement document for 7?

Yes, this applies to Windows 7 too. Vista and Windows 7 uses the same folder structure.
